American Football Wagers

American Football wagers are all about the National Football League (NFL). With 32 teams (divided between the National Football Conference and the American Football Conference) playing 16 regular season games each, surely there are lots of games to wager on.

And of course, there's the NFL Playoffs - six teams (four division winners and two wild-card teams) from each conference competing in a single-elimination tournament culminating in the biggest stage of them all, the Super Bowl.

The NFL's Regular Season usually begins the week after Labor Day and concludes the week after Christmas. Most games are played on Sundays, with some games held on Mondays and Thursdays.

A lot of Football wagers also go into College Football games. With literally hundreds of collegiate teams vying to make it to the College Football Playoffs, surely there are lots of wagers to choose from.

A College Football season usually begins around August and culminates with the Bowl Games (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl) and National Championship Game in January.

The 2014 college football season ushered in the four-team Playoff system to determine the college football champion. It replaced the National Championship Game.

With hundreds of football games going on at the same time, surely you'll never run out of wagering options!

Generally, at least 55 minutes of play are needed for football wagers to have action. Overtime counts for both side and total bets.
